Cultural Practices:
Sulfur cinquefoil is found in dry fields, pastures, meadows fence lines
and along roadsides. Mowing the stems prior to the formation of flowers
will prevent seed formation. Continual mowing will cause a depletion of
food reserves as leaves are developed on upright stems.
Herbicide Use:
Make your postemergent herbicide application to cinquefoil that is actively
growing and in the rosette to flower stage of growth.
